Class Experience

This class is intended as a crash course introduction to beginning a YouTube channel.  This class will overview how to take an idea and narrow it down for YouTube.  We will also cover channel naming/branding, your first video, the basics of YouTube and the first steps any new YouTuber needs to get started.  I'll also provide links for free capture and editing software that students with PC can begin using right away.  It will be a time for students to ask questions and get more of an idea of...

Students will need to generate ideas and begin using some of the free software that I will mention in the lesson if they would like to take more advanced courses in the future.

Students should come to class with a basic idea about what kind of content they would like to upload onto YouTube.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parents before enrolling your student in this class, your learner will need your permission to have their own Gmail account which they will use to start their YouTube channel.  There are also options for channels designed for children that block all comments.  Please feel free to message if you have any questions.
