This is a very interactive class. Students will be engaged in conversation with a group of peers as well as the instructor. The purpose of this one-time class is to engage the students in a fun, social activity while providing them with an opportunity for introspection and meditation. Students will learn how to prepare a cup of tea as well as how to perform traditional tasseography (tea-reading). Students will also de-mystify the practice as one that is more about focus of the mind; not magic.

Making a cup of tea, social and discussion skills, confidence, looking ahead, meditation, and self-reflection.

This class is not teaching magic, but showing how the practice of tea reading is about getting in touch with your own mind.
Supply List
All supplies are readily found around most homes: -A coffee or tea cup -Spoon -Hot water -A bag of tea or loose leaf tea (coffee grounds may do, if tea isn't your thing) -Paper towel and a saucer or bowl

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
