Class Experience

This class will continue to build on basic communication and problem-solving skills. It will also provide more guidance in creative thinking and adaptability as they begin to explore their character's quirks and emotional growth in more meaningful ways.
Over 20 years of experience as a professional writer and story analyst combined with my 10 years of experience in social-emotional learning and emotional intelligence development have helped me craft this one-of-a-kind experience for fans of MHA.
Learners will be requested to keep an in-character journal of all the things they've learned and mistakes they've made. Most of the sharing will be done on the final day of class, but there will be moments in every session to share stories with one and other.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
"My Hero Academia" though considered a "kids show" does deal with trauma, death, and violence among other societal and personal conflicts. Because the goal of the class is to understand these moments and their impact on the characters we will be discussing these topics in a light relatable manner that focuses less on the trauma with trauma, but rather on the lesson and hope that can be found within these conflicts.
