Description

Class Experience

I'm offering this class because I get totally excited when I see kids of all ages, stages, and backgrounds getting outside to observe the heavens above. They have all the tools under their belt to confidently navigate their way across the mosaic of stars, planets, nebula, galaxies, and so much more. They can share their knowledge with others, pointing the way.

Attend Star Parties and other astronomical events with confidence!

Star Chart> August 2018 is attached, though we'll be using an updated version for the month during class. I highly recommend using your local library or used book store as your Go To source. * Amazon.com >> For books * You're also welcome to use places like http://www.skymaps.com and other websites for information.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
