Studio classes are used by the best conservatories and music schools, now we can hold a studio class over zoom! This is the perfect opportunity to get out your pre-recital or pre-audition jitters. This is also a great opportunity for new cellists to see other cellists perform live. Cellists are welcome to present their pieces that they are working on for other cellists and myself. The performing cellists will receive positive and constructive feedback from myself and the other cellists in the class.The cellists that are not performing can follow along with their scores to help better understand the piece they are working on.

Hello OutSchool community! I am Katie Chambers, a cellist and music educator based in New York City. I've been running my own private teaching studio of cello, piano and violin students since graduating with my Masters degree in cello performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2005. Highlights have always been our annual recital, our various community-service concerts and ensemble recitals with other local private teaching artists. I look forward to meeting your students and sharing my experiences of traveling around the world playing the cello and hearing your students thoughts on their love of the cello.
