To date, I have over 10 years of experience teaching young writers in the Writer's Workshop format which I feel inspires young writers to enjoy writing and build their own skills. One of my favorite experiences was when I introduced this format in my own preschool English immersion classroom as the lead teacher. I have continued teaching in this format with students both in a traditional setting, tutoring sessions, small homeschool co-op classes, and more recently online.
