Class Experience

Welcome to this "Easy as 1-2-3" pizza making lass!  In this class, young learners will assemble and make mini-pizzas!  Parents can enroll their learner for a pizza-making good time.  The purpose of this class is to get your young learner into the kitchen where they can learn basic cooking skills and have fun making mini-pizzas.  It is a simplified cooking class where students will assemble and bake kid-sized pizzas using an English muffin, naan, or a bun.  Students meet-up, learn a new skill, and have fun! We will follow easy instructions from beginning to end:
 
1.  Gather the ingredients and equipment
2.  Assemble the ingredients
3.  Watch the pizza making demonstration
4.  Make the pizza(s)
5.  Socialize  and eat!
6.  Play Pizza Bingo   
7.  Sing "Bingo"

WARNING:  Safety is very important!  I will produce a safety video for enrolled students and parents to view BEFORE class.

Parental Guidance
The purpose of this class is to empower your young learner on how to assemble and bake pizzas! This is not scratch cooking. Adult supervision and participation is mandatory. I will have a brief safety video for the parent(s) to watch BEFORE class. In this video, I will talk about how to work in the kitchen with young learners. In addition, this recipe contains KNOWN ALLERGENS such as eggs, gluten, dairy, and wheat. If there is a potential for sensitivity or an allergic reaction, please look for another class option.
Supply List
A  recipe handout will be given after enrollment.
Ingredients: cheese, tomato sauce, vegetable or meat toppings, English muffin, naan, or bun
Oven or toaster oven
Pot holder or safe cloth to remove oven
Cookie sheet or shallow toaster oven pan
Cooling rack
Small serving spoon for sauce
Bowls for each topping
Knife for cutting pizza
Plate / Drink
Paper towel to wipe hands
