Does your child love the outdoors and nature? Do they want to know more about the world around them? In this week-long camp students will spend a week at nature camp - all from the comfort of their own home! This is perfect camp to introduce young learners to the environment and explore different topics that are sure to spark their interest! We will combine interactive, project-based activities such as crafts and seed-planting with valuable information and fun facts. Here is what we will...
Day 1: Paper towels, large jar (from pasta sauce or similar), seeds (beans and peas work great to germinate quickly!), water Day 2: Piece of paper and drawing/coloring materials (pencils, markers, crayons, etc) Day 3: Toilet paper rolls (2), scissors, liquid glue, clothespins or paper clips Day 4: Piece of paper and drawing/coloring materials
3 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be doing some crafts each class that may use scissors so parental guidance is suggested
