Transform your creative passions into business opportunities in this weekly entrepreneurship social group! Whether you're interested in digital art, music production, programming, crafting, or any other creative venture, join fellow teen entrepreneurs to develop your business ideas and skills. Weekly Discussion Topics Include: Business idea generation Financial tracking and basic accounting Market research and pricing strategies Online vs in-person business models Marketing and advertising fundamentals Product photography and presentation Craft fair and market participation Creative copywriting for business Professional branding and signage Digital presence optimization Class Format: This interactive social group meets weekly for student-led discussions and project sharing. Each session focuses on topics and projects brought forward by group members, creating an organic, supportive environment for young entrepreneurs to grow together. Examples of Student Projects: Digital art and design services Custom crafting and handmade products Music and sound design creation Photography services Programming and app development Agricultural and farming ventures Online content creation Note: This is a learner-directed social group focused on peer support and idea development. To maintain student privacy, session recordings are not provided. Please bring: Any materials related to your business idea or creative project that you want to share Prerequisites: None - just bring your entrepreneurial spirit and creative ideas! This group evolved from our popular Making Friends Teens social group, providing a focused space for aspiring teen entrepreneurs to connect and grow together.
Learning Goals
Students will socialize and present their creative endeavors to give and receive positive feedback. They will share what they have discovered in starting their own creative business and brainstorm solutions for each other. This is supportive networking!

We are a Neuroaffirming Organization! We support learners with different needs and meet them where they are at. In our social groups, we can read out the chat, we can scribe and we keep the class together and don't use breakout rooms.

Yvonne is an interdisciplinary artist who has had a small business of one sort or another for years. Repairing computers, performing with bands, selling goods at markets, Yvonne has seen various sides of small business. With a BMus and many years as a homeschooling teacher, Yvonne is looking forward to learning from YOU!
Linda draws and paints and is recently exploring mosaics using recycled material. She loves to create in various mediums. Using recycled fabrics, Linda has created rag rugs and other fabric based art. Her background is as an International Art Educator and has years of experience as a teacher.
