In this 4-week class, very young students will learn to play the piano using the Music for Little Mozarts piano course in a class setting.
Class experience
This is a 4-week course designed specifically for the younger beginning piano student. We will follow the adventures of Mozart Mouse and Beethoven Bear to learn keyboard basics in a fun and encouraging setting. We will be using the Music For Little Mozarts Music Lesson Book 1, and will expect to cover about the first half of the book, although pacing of the class may be adjusted as necessary. Students will learn to play with correct technique and learn to play several simple songs using black keys and finger numbers.
Homework Offered
Practicing daily is tremendously helpful in learning to play an instrument. Young beginners should spend about 10-15 minutes a day practicing outside of class. New pieces will be assigned each week.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Students will need to purchase the lesson book for this course. "Music For Little Mozarts - LESSON BOOK 1" can be purchased from a music store, alfred.com, or Amazon. Be sure to purchase the LESSON book, not the workbook!
