Hello! I am so excited to offer this creative class. Each week, learners will have the opportunity to create something new using process art. I will show them some ways to create using the materials we bring to class, and I will be guiding them and teaching them about the materials they are creating with. Week of July 10th: Q Tip Painting -Q-tips -tempera paints -a tray or plate to put paints on -a few pieces of paper Week of July 17th: Paper Plate Collage -a paper plate -collage materials (feathers, pom poms, stickers, scraps of paper, yarn, etc.) -glue Week of July 24th: Puffy Paint -shaving cream (foamy) -white glue -food coloring -bowls to mix in -paint brush -water to wash brush -paper *We will be mixing equal parts glue and shaving cream and adding food coloring to make the paint. Students may need help/supervision. Week of July 31st: Self Portrait -paper -crayons Week of August 7th: Kitchen Utensil Painting -kitchen utensils (spatulas, whisks, etc.) -paint on plates -paper Week of August 14th: Handprint Art -different colors of paint on a plate -paper -a paintbrush -wipes (to clean hands)
