In this two day camp students will learn the basics of drawing their very own cartoon characters!
Class experience
Have you ever wanted to create your very own cartoon character? Cartoons are found in movies, shows, comics, books, and even in the newspaper! On day one, this class we will learn how to draw different types of eyes, hair, mouths, and face shapes. On day two we will give your character personality by using emotions, accessories, backdrop, and a short background story. For students that like writing, they may want to start working with "speech bubbles" in a comic setting. There is no limit...
This class is taught in English.
Students will leave this class with their own cartoon character, friends, and drawing skills.
Students will need paper, pencil, eraser, and any type of coloring material. Some students like to keep all their drawings in a note or sketch book. Please provide proper lighting for this class.
Students should have pencils already sharpened before class. Some students may need guidance with sharp objects.
