In this one day class students will learn the first five lessons from Saxon Algebra 1.

US Grade 6 - 9
In this class we will be learning lessons 1-5 from Saxon Algebra 1. I teach by asking many questions that guide the learner to the correct conclusions. This course will include: - Introduction/Ice Breaker. - Lesson 1 Addition and Subtraction of Fractions - Lesson 2 Angles, Polygons, Triangles, Quadrilaterals -Lesson 3 Perimeter, Circumference -Lesson 4 Review of Arithmetic -Lesson 5 Sets, Absolute Value, Addition of Signed Numbers - Clarify any questions/concerns about lesson/problems.
Students will learn addition and subtraction of fractions. They will learn about angles, polygons, triangles, quadrilaterals, perimeter, and circumference. We will review arithmetic. Learners will also improve understanding of sets, absolute value, and addition of signed numbers.
I am a credentialed teacher and have my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education of Mathematics.
Homework Offered
This class will end with an exit ticket problem to ensure learners have mastered concepts, but there will not be homework assigned.Assessments Offered
