Class Experience

Students will get the opportunity to act as Justices of the Supreme Court to determine a case based on the First Amendment freedom of religion.  Students will learn about how religion is protected and separated from the government sphere.  They will also understand the parameters set by the court to determine line between church and state.  Then students will be given a scenario based on a real case to determine if the First Amendment was violated or not.  The students will apply what they...
