In this 8-week course, students will learn beginner-level words, phrases, and conversational skills in ASL. Students will be able to express themselves in and understand ASL at a foundational level.

Beginner Level
In this first introductory level ASL class, students will learn foundational words, phrases, and sentences to get them started in having conversations in American Sign Language. Students will learn ASL vocabulary on various topics like family, places, emotions, hobbies, colors, time, and much more! The class will start with a review of concepts previously learned, interactive presentation of new material, then a reflection and what's ahead. I will utilize PowerPoint slides to keep the class on track. The class does require students to be on camera the whole time and ready to sign.
