Class Experience
Welcome! This is a short and fun class designed to get young artists started in animation! We will use a simple sticky notepad to create mini flipbooks. This exercise creates excitement in art/animation and boosts confidence so that students can come to the realization that animation is something they CAN do and CAN be good at, even if they don't draw often or are just starting out in their creative journey. I have my degree in Animation and have been a professional animator and animation teacher for 6 years now. I LOVE teaching this specific exercise because it is an exciting way to show students that they CAN animate!
- One to two small or medium sticky note pads - Pen or Pencil - Medium binder clip or a rubber band (to keep the pages secure)
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
