In this One-time Class designated to the concept of evaluating photographs, students will learn criteria for a thoughtful, critical eye on key concepts of photography: focus, exposure, lighting, simplicity, composition, appeal, visual clutter, texture, movement and then apply these to respectful peer-to-peer evaluation. Additionally, students will learn what is required for self-evaluation in order to push themselves to improve their own quality of work. Students should come to class prepared with: evaluation form I will supply in the Classroom prior to our class meeting at minimum, five photographs ready to screen share for evaluation (2 each student is my goal, depending on Class size)

Teacher expertise and credentials
Having worked for a photographer, I learned many aspects of the art. My passion for photography has inspired the artwork around our home. I have enlarged numerous photographs printed on canvas. I encourage your students to do the same. I am a former 4-H Photography Project Leader. Feel free to read thorough detailed feedback I have received for each of my Photography Classes and Semester-long Courses.
