They will review application summaries of candidates for their school, and then, as a group, they must agree on which applicants to admit. Students will learn about various factors that are considered by admissions committees and how the type of college may impact how these factors are valued. Students will reflect on their own high school experiences and identify ways that they can improve their college candidacy.
I have worked as an admissions reader for one Ivy League university and as an alumni interviewer for another Ivy League university. I have also worked for non-profit college access programs, helping over 100 students through the college application process.
