Description
Class Experience
Learners will improve their ability to identify their emotions and how to calm 3 emotions which are sadness, angry, and anxiety. Learning Emotion spots will be used Creator of Emotion spots is Diane Alber Website: www.dianealber.com
I am trained in physical activity awareness. I have 10+ years in safety for children. I have taught 6 years of yoga and physical activity. Learners should wear comfy clothes to move and stretch in (leaving shoes on or go barefoot). A safe, open spot to move around (carpet, or on a rug/mat works best to avoid slipping and to protect tender kiddo tailbones). This course will be directed to keep children safe as we perform emotion yoga.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents please be advised that parental guidance may be required for this course. Safety is my number one priority for children, please understand that most importantly each yoga pose that this course consist of has been altered to be age appropriate for children.
