Description
Class Experience
Students will learn new yoga poses including alignments, yoga sequences, breathing and relaxation techniques, creative stories and ways to incorporate yoga and mindfulness throughout their week.
Optional coloring sheets and activities will be included but they are not required.
Paper and pencil/pen will be helpful for the journal activities during the 3rd week of each 4 week schedule. This can be lined paper, a notebook or any paper students have handy. For week 4 of each 4 week schedule a craft will be completed. During this week I will post in the classroom what will be needed. Craft supplies will be paper, scissors, pen/pencils, markers, glue and/or crayons.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class includes physical fitness elements. Students need a small amount of open workout space, free of hazards and a water bottle, if needed. A yoga mat is helpful, although not required. Modifications are included for poses but students should feel free to do any modifications they need for poses as well. The great thing with yoga is that each student's yoga practice can look different!
