During this class students will use their imagination to warm up, move around and learn basic Yoga poses, we will use the poses during our dance and we’ll travel using our enchanted mats to our favorite places during a guided relaxation. Hello, I am Diana Vivas, I am a Kidding Around Yoga certified Instructor. I have been helping families for more than 15 years organizing routines that included creative movement, math, reading and listening comprehension, when I looked for a Mindful program to incorporate in my activities I noticed there weren’t many for younger children so I decided to get certified in Yoga for children and teach it myself. I work with children using hands on exploration through social interaction, encouraged by music and using nature to help children learn about their environment. Even though my mayor is in International Business, my passion is working with children and learning along the way with them.
Yoga mat An area to place the mat with no furniture, toys or objects near and with enough room to move around the mat. Comfortable clothes No shoes nor socks unless socks have grips, preferably barefoot. Bottle of water
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Students might want to practice the poses after class or show what was learned to parents and relatives, Please make sure that adult supervision is provided at all times.
