Class Experience

Join our fun and engaging week-long Yoga, Mindfulness, and Meditation camp designed specifically for children ages 4-9! We'll introduce little yogis to simple yoga poses, mindfulness techniques, and calming meditation practices through age-appropriate activities and imaginative adventures. This camp aims to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for young learners to explore self-awareness, relaxation, and focus while developing their love for yoga and mindfulness.

Class Structure:
Icebreaker (5 minutes): A fun, age-appropriate activity to get to know each other.
Yoga and Meditation (15 minutes): Introduction to simple yoga poses, mindfulness techniques, and meditation practices tailored to young learners.
Practice and Sharing (5 minutes): Students practice the introduced techniques and share their experiences.
Closing and Relaxation (5 minutes): We'll end each session with a calming relaxation exercise to foster a positive mindset.

⇢ Session 4: Creative Yoga Adventures - Unleash imagination through story-based yoga adventures and meditation journeys.
⇢ Session 5: Yoga and Mindfulness Showcase - Share our favorite yoga poses, mindfulness techniques, and meditation experiences from the week.

Learning Goals

By the end of the camp, students will have gained an understanding of yoga, mindfulness, and meditation practices tailored for their age group, and will have a personal favorite technique or pose to practice at home.

Parental Guidance
As the instructor for this yoga and mindfulness summer camp, I prioritize the safety and privacy of all students. It is important for parents to ensure that their child has adequate space and comfortable clothes for movement. I also recommend a water bottle to stay hydrated. I will provide guidance and supervision throughout each session to ensure a safe and positive experience for all students.
