In this one-time class, students will be introduced to Pragya Yog postures (Asanas), Deep Breathing techniques (Pranayama), and Meditation. They will learn new Yoga facts during each class and meditate to calming music at the end.

Students will begin the class with Deep Breathing techniques (Pranayama). I will teach them three different Deep Breathing techniques and explain the benefit of each. After, we will begin with some basic yoga poses followed by Pragya Yog, a form of sun salutation. We will then begin our Meditation and Mindfulness techniques (Sadhna). I will thoroughly guide students through this step. After the Meditation, we will learn new Yoga facts and open the floor for some discussion. Towards the end...
The goal of this class is to help students understand the true meaning behind Yoga, Meditation, and Deep Breathing while discussing why it is beneficial to incorporate them into our daily lives. Students will learn to regulate their breathing, incorporate positive thinking, and will also improve their flexibility.
I have been teaching Yoga to children for many years. I have also been practicing Yoga myself since I was young. I have held many international yoga retreats for adults and children for over 10 years.
Each student should use a yoga mat or a non-slippery rug or blanket to perform yoga steps. The room should have some space to freely move around and stretch.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
