Yoga is a great way to keep your body in ship shape in a fun way! It also helps little learners to discover the different ways they can move their bodies! Each class students will be exposed to a variety of physical yoga poses that focus on a different fun, child friendly theme (see themes below). The class will start with a few moments of mindful breathing to practice a little bit of patience and focus. From there we will explore the ways our body can move through themed poses, silly sounds and story telling. Finally, we will then end with a short relaxation to allow the mind and body time to take in what it has learned. Summer Schedule Commences at the beginning of July Ongoing classes will resume the week of September 12-18. Safety and privacy are our top priorities. This class involves physical movements that could have potential hazards including, but not limited to, injuries that can occur if not properly supervised in the Parental Guidance section of the listing prior to resubmitting. This will help parents make an informed decision about whether this class is a good fit for their learner and make sure that all students are prepared. requiring an open workout space, access to a water bottle if needed.

Parental Guidance
Safety and privacy are our top priorities. This class involves physical movements that could have potential hazards including, but not limited to, injuries to muscles, joints or tendons can occur if students are not properly stretched (which we will do during class) or are not listening to the instructions provided. Students will also require an open space to practice in to allow for safe movement, indoor running shoes or trainers if needed, and access to a water bottle if needed. It is also important that students wear comfy but well fitting clothing. Clothing that is too tight can cut off blood circulation to specific body parts. Clothing that is too loose can get in the way and cause falls or injuries.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am also a qualified yoga instructor! I have 200 hrs in vinyasa yoga and 25 hours in kids yoga. I also practice yoga and mindfulness on a (almost) daily basis and am always looking for more ways to improve my technique.
