Yoga for Fun and Relaxation Summer Camp
In this two week summer camp the Learner will experience a vinyasa yoga class that inspires fun and relaxation, learn the basics of yoga, and acquire tools to reduce stress and bring them into the present moment.

Each class will include a warm up, breathing exercises, strength building, cardio, and a cool down. The students will follow along and I will teach the basics of vinyasa yoga throughout the class. Every class will be a unique routine, with added mindfulness tools included, like breathing techniques, mediation, and how to manage emotions. The students will learn about the basics of vinyasa yoga asana practice while they are guided through movement. They will learn how to find peace and fun in the present by moving the body.
I have completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training program. I have found yoga to be very helpful with my own stress management. My mom passed away in 2018 and yoga helped me through such a difficult time, which inspired me to become a yoga teacher.
There will not be any curriculum materials. The student will need a yoga mat and if desired a yoga block or two. This can cost 10-30 dollars depending on where you purchase them. They can also use towels instead of mats and books instead of blocks.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Allow the Learner to have an open area to prevent any injury. They should have bare feet or slip proof socks to prevent slipping. The learner should also have a water bottle nearby so they can stay hydrated.
