This is a yoga class with a fitness aspect. I use a traditional yoga sequence that is safe for kids and incorporate some body weight exercises to increase the heart rate, sense of balance, and overall strength and flexibility. Fun and upbeat, this is a full body workout will help you get that much needed exercise without the commitment of a weekly subscription. 50 minute class breakdown: 5 minutes: welcome 5-10 minutes: warm up 10-15 minutes: active yoga sequence 10 minutes: cardio last with the sweat deck! 10 minutes: slow yoga stretches & cool down >5 minutes: good bye!

Parental Guidance
Whenever students are performing yoga as part of a fitness routine, please be advised of any potential hazards (including, but not limited to, needing an open workout space, slip proof socks or bare feet, a mat, and proper clothing ). Injuries can occur if not properly supervised, such as slips or bumps.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a certified and experienced yoga instructor (200-hour E-RYT) with more than a thousand hours of teaching experience. I also have the 95-hour kids yoga certification. My Full Body Yoga Workout class on outschool has had more than 300 kids in it and has never gotten less and a 5 star review. This is the same class, but in the one-time class format. You will not be disappointed!
