Class Experience

🧘‍♀️  Yoga and Mindfulness 🧘‍♀️ 

What is stressing you out? School, friends, family, your inner critic, or all of the above? Is the day weighing heavily on you? 

Learn to calmly manage your stress with mindfulness skills that include deep breathing, meditation, exploring thoughts/emotions, and even mindful coloring!
Improve your focus and boost your confidence through mindfulness and yoga. 

I am a yogi and a lifelong practitioner of yoga and a strong advocate for its physical and mental benefits. 

All are welcome to join us, but this class is recommended for girls

🪴 Each Week 🪴 

Each week we will learn 1-3 new yoga positions that will give children full access to the resources of their body, breath and mindset, and do so within the context of compassionate, respectful relationships. 


During each class we will connect, breathe, move and relax and learn mindfulness techniques that will carry them through their week with success!

✏️ Supplies ✏️ 

If supplies are needed they will be posted in the classroom prior to the class, but most classes just require the student to come as they are!

Wear some comfy stretchy clothes and non slip shoes can be worn if the student chooses to. 
A clear small space is required to allow your kids to stretch and a yoga mat is useful but not necessary. The yoga stretches will be at beginner level. Children can stretch before class but we will do a stretch routine at start of each class.

A journal or sheet paper and pencils or pen are helpful but not required
Learning Goals
Confidence and Focus: Students will learn mindfulness skills that will help build their confidence and focus, allowing them to better take on life and any stress that accompanies it
Flexibility: Through yoga, students will improve their flexibility.  A supple body is one that is better equipped to carry you through life and meet any physical challenges you encounter with vigor!

Learning Needs
In my 30 years of teaching experience I have worked with many students who are 2E, Neurodivergent, Dyslexic, ASD, and have designed this class with you in mind ♥️
