Description
Class Experience
In this class we will get familiar with essential every day words, sentences and vocabulary in Spanish. Every week, we will practice, read, play, listen to music, watch videos in Spanish and learn how to communicate in the third most spoken language in the world. The class will also include dialogs and creative ways to learn to communicate and request for basic necessities. We will also share our work and fun via Flipgrid in our own private classroom and interact with each other via Flipgrid....
Students will learn basic vocabulary that will enable them to greet, request for assistance, express like or dislike, and express possession. They will learn essential verbs and conjugation applied to dialogs and real life situations.
Students will have materials to analyze and learn related to the class like videos, songs or texts. All materials will be provided in .pdf, mp3 or links. There will also be quizzes in the shape of Kahoot challenges in which the students will compete against the rest of the class and use for measuring their success during the course. Th students will be able to complete these challenges as many times as they want in order to succeed. The students will also record and post videos on Flipgrid for the teacher to evaluate what they learned.
The teacher will supply all the necessary materials as videos, mp3 and pdf. The learner will need a printer for using the craft templates. Worksheets can be filled digitally.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
