In the "Yes! It's True" series we will discover the truth and mysteries of weird, or unique species in the world. This 1-time class will focus on at least 5 animals that are deadly. This class is perfect for those kids who are curious and love all types of animals! Diving in with curiosity, and wonder, together we will notice details, question, compare/contrast, explain, and/or hypothesize while justifying our thinking based on newly learned facts in our oral discussions. The class will be a mix of a teacher-led presentation, reading excerpts from Deadliest! 20 Dangerous Animals by Steve Jenkins, discussion, video clips, or other interactive activities. Our discussions will also be a great outlet to be social while talking about these dangerous creatures.
