This class is taught in English.

IEW Registered Instructor My experience with IEW expands over twenty-five years of teaching the curriculum in co-ops, my home, and privately to students. Above all, I have attended IEW seminars in person and online. Most important, I have an MA in Instructional Design and Corporate Training.
The student will be required to research a topic. Research can be done by asking family members or friends questions or using the internet with parent permission and assistance. Students will have weekly homework assignments which we will review in class. Above all students are required to type final essays. Amount of time spent writing and rewriting an essay will depend on the student. However, I estimate 2-4 hours a week working on a paper.
Notebook paper (wide rule if possible) Highlighters (two different colors) Ink pens (two different colors) Access to a word processing program.
The student will submit their typed assignments to the teacher one day before class by 5 pm CST each week by email. The teacher will review the assignment and provide oral or written feedback to the student. Late assignments will not be evaluated.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Students may need the internet to research information for their assignment. Books at home or questioning family and friends is also a source of information for the learner.
