To gain an appreciation and deeper understanding of what life is like in America's first National Park while stretching, balancing, and strengthening our bodies and relaxing our minds with soothing nature.
Students need a safe space to move and breathe. This class is for all levels of experience and abilities. A mixture of mindful breathing and playful movements. Students should wear comfortable, unrestricted clothing. A yoga mat is nice, but not necessary to learn. The room should be clear of any objects that may become a hazard with moving or jumping (ex. stepping on a lego in a pose does not feel good) Barefoot is best as socks can be slippery. Students should not eat a heavy meal within 30 minutes of class.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
