In this weekly class, we will meet once a week to discuss sports while making new friends! While socializing, students will practice critical thinking and social skills to build confidence.

My goal is to create a meaningful, comfortable, social learning environment where students discuss interesting topics and connect with each other. This is a discussion-based class that helps students build speaking and listening skills. Students will compare and contrast players and teams, analyze statistics, and discuss the current happenings in the baseball world. Students will build communication skills while having fun and making friends! Students will have plenty of opportunities to share their input and listen to others. Class topics will be largely learner-led. It is strongly recommended that students have an intermediate or advanced knowledge of the Yankees and the current MLB.
