Description

Class Experience

Students will improve their number sense from 1-20 by representing numbers in a variety of ways (ten frames, pictures, tallies, word form, and standard form).
I have been a classroom teacher for 10 years and this was one of our fun Thanksgiving day crafts that we would do each year!
Students will finish their turkey projects at home if they did not have a chance to finish coloring and putting it together in class.
2 printable pages will be available to print out before each class (for the Turkey craft). Crayons/Markers Glue Scissors (if turkey pieces are not cut out prior to class)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will have to cut out their turkey parts with scissors, this can be done before class by a parent or with parent guidance if needed.
