This is a 2-day art and science class where students will take 1 day to build a volcano (modeling how the teacher is doing it) and then will erupt the volcano on the second day. Throughout both days we will discuss facts about volcanoes. I will send out a supply list a week before class begins to give everyone time to prepare. Our volcanos will be crafted out of Crayola white Model Magic where we will take time to paint them with acrylic paints. Crayola Model Magic can be purchased from Micheal’s, Target, Walmart or ordered from Amazon. I will send out a picture so you know what to look for. This is going to be a fun and interactive class!
Learning Goals
This is an extra class based on information learned from my on-going science class, however anyone is able to join!

White Crayola Model Magic Plastic cup to build volcano around Acrylic paint Paper plate Glue Mentos Diet Coke Vinegar and baking soda Note: I may send out more supplies for eruptions a week before class meets.
