Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, My name is Jared and I am a professional Audio Engineer, Musician, and Producer located in Nashville, TN. I have 15 years of recording experience and I am a graduate from The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. I have had the pleasure of working with some of the best audio engineers in the music business and have recorded and produced hundreds of songs. I have also worked for Billboard Music as a freelance engineer and I have trained others in the field of audio engineering.
My goal as an Outschool teacher is to provide a wonderful learning experience for students who are just starting out with recording their own music or wanting to play the guitar. As a musician myself, I started as a teenager recording my acoustic guitar and songs in my bedroom for hours. It led me down a wonderful and exciting career path with lots of avenues and possibilities. I aim to share my knowledge and experiences with these young and aspiring musicians, engineers, and producers as I would have loved an educational experience like this when I was first starting out.
When I am not working on music I have a passion for video games. I look forward to creating classes and social groups dedicated to developing skills through gaming and socializing with like-minded peers.
I live with my wife, son, daughter and small dog, Walt.
