Description
Class Experience
Students will learn ways of gaining control of their video game habitats and have the facts to make better decisions.
Johnathan holds a Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science during which course he learned how to program video games and the science behind making the games highly addictive, a requirement of the companies who make money from this 90 billion dollar industry. He has worked with children of all ages in the fields of sports, circus skills, and business as a trainer and mentor. He has extensive experience in mentoring and counseling which he applies during this class. Dr. Peter King has done Computer Science modules at University and is a lifelong computer game enthusiast - especially Sid Meir's Civilization which he has played throughout most of his adult life. So he understands from first-person experience how addictive video games can be. He has 3 young stepchildren who he helps get active away from their Playstations and uses many of the techniques and theories explained in this course to help them get a better balance to their lives.
