I am an elementary school teacher who has taught phonics, reading skills, and countless writing tips. This is not a class that teaches students how to read and write; however, I use my teaching expertise in this area to enhance literacy skills.
The only homework is to follow through on the weekly goals you set in class: reading, writing, planning.
-Whiteboard and marker OR Paper and pencil -Books of choice at a comfortable reading level
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner progress is assessed during class sessions. Pupils are encouraged to set literacy goals, converse with peers, and ask related questions or share applicable stories.
