Description
Class Experience
Students should be able to: Discuss the events before and during the Second World War; Recognise the alliances and leaders during the war; Analyse the cause and effect of WWII to Britain and the rest of the world.
I have over ten years teaching experience in bilingual, state and international schools. I've taught KS3 - A levels History and Geography; Humanities and English as a Foreign Language in classroom and online settings. I’m also a Cambridge International Education (CIE) History Assessment Specialist/ Assistant Examiner. I enjoy teaching students of different ability levels and cultural backgrounds and take pleasure in making the subject interesting for my students. I also like to help students achieve their academic potential and get students inspired about the world around them. I have a proven track record including helping my students achieve the highest marks for Cambridge International Examinations IGCSE History in the whole of China (in June 2010 and June 2016 examinations).
Homework is optional but students are encouraged to do independent research about the historical events and write a short biographical narrative about WWII leaders.
Student activity hand-out/ worksheet will be provided every session.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Informal Assessment through observations and completion of tasks/ worksheets.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Discussion will be kept at an age appropriate level.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses School History and YouTube.
