During World War II, tons of secret operations were conducted by both sides. While many were daring, some of them stand out as incredible, with mind-blowing operations that seem straight out of a historical thriller novel. Students will embark on a journal-style writing history class full of intriguing knowledge that opens another branch of WWII history to be explored and connected to key events throughout this timeline.

In this on-going WW2 course, students will explore secret missions, spies who risked everything, and the different tactics used to complete their top secret operations. This will not be what you’d find in history books on WWII, rather it will be about out-of-the-box views and how these missions, people and decisions changed the very course of World War 2.

I adore learning fascinating, behind-the-scenes tidbits about anything. I have been teaching standard American History curriculum for 20+ years, and I have found that finding fun twists to standard curriculum helps learners remember and relate to facts better. This format helps my students build critical thinking skills, as well as gain knowledge about historical events. By adding a new perspective to familiar topics, we can expand our thinking to include new possibilities!
