Do you have a desire to write or draw? Do you enjoy doing both or just one in particular? Regardless, this class will help you learn the basics on writing a children's books, from all perspectives. Whether you are new to the process or have some experience, this class will teach you the basic requirements needed to publish a book. Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesday. Students will learn how to create their own characters and manuscripts. Students will learn copyright laws and limitations. Students will learn how to edit, revise, publish and eventually market their creations.
No formal homework will be assigned. Homework will consist of recommendations for students who are committed to producing a product that may eventually be published/produced.
35 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
