Class Experience

The battle between good and evil is as old as time itself and who will save the day? Your hero of course! In this class, we will explore and discuss hero's from our favorite books and movies. We will unpack who the hero is and how different that can look in every story.
My teaching style is easygoing with discussion and fun as the top priority. I encourage all of my learners to share their own ideas but if there are shy learners they are absolutely welcome to engage in class at their own comfort level. This class is a teacher-led group discussion where we will look at examples and share our ideas to help spark inspiration for our own characters.

Learning Goals

Students will brainstorm together and begin a character sketch for the hero of their story. We will explore how description and word choice affect how the reader views our character and we will discuss hero's that save the day and make the world right again. We will work on a basic character sketch for our hero.
