Writing Workshop: Build a World
All stories need a world, be it a magical kingdom in an imaginary land, a small town with a hidden mystery, or anything in between. In this class, students learn elements of creating a setting and get to practice with their own writing.

Description
Class Experience
We focus on the following elements of character building: - Physical Elements - People - Customs - History Our class is focused on generating ideas and putting them together in interesting ways by brainstorming and then putting them into practice through prose. We are not focused in this class on the mechanics of writing such as spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Students need a way to write during class. This could be pencil and paper or, if the student is proficient at typing and can do so while also having Zoom open, it could be a computer.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
