In this first semester of a year long IEW Writing course for students ages 8-10, we will cover twelve of the twenty four lessons of the "All Things Fun and Fascinating".

Learning to write using the IEW method is one class that my college kids have thanked me for multiple times. They continue to encourage their younger siblings to embrace the program and the learning process. As a Registered IEW Writing Teacher, I've been teaching the IEW writing curriculum for many years. Students will learn to keyword outline. Students will learn to being using the IEW method of writing. Students will learn not to be afraid to write. Students will learn to aim high and to support one another.
Weekly Homework: 1. Final draft of previous paper/lesson. 2. Rough draft of new paper/lesson. 3. Memorize Vocabulary words

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students receive scores on final papers for Lessons 3-12. These points will be used to tally a final grade for the semester.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Parents are encouraged to listen to oral versions of the source materials as well as to help proofread and coach students throughout the week as necessary.
