Class Experience
Calling young writers!! If your learners love to write, draw, create character and story. This ongoing 1:1 tutoring fun writing class is for you! Let's be creative, learn to write an opinion essay, story sequencing, and writing sentences/paragraph. Students will write a narrative that describes the sequence of the story, create character and story using imagination and creativity, learn to write an opinion that introduces a topic, provide reasons and write conclusions.
Material (For Story Sequencing class) 1. A two - page handout "Story sequencing Organizer" and "Storytelling picture cards" prior to the start of the class. 2. Blank paper 3. Glue (For Opinion writing) 1. A one - page "Graphic Organizer" handout will be sent prior to class start. 2. Blank paper 3. Pencil (For Creative writing) 1. Blank paper 2. Pencil 3. Coloring pens/crayon
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
** Google slides are used for instruction of the lesson and video clips from youtube to use as additional resources. I will do screen-sharing and no need to create any accounts. **
