Class Experience

Writing is an important lifelong skill that is used in a variety of settings, industries and careers. It is a skill that will be highly utilized throughout a learner’s life. In this one time private tutoring class, we will work on either academic or creative writing pursuits. The class focus is determined based on the needs and goals of the individual learner.

Whether the learner is looking to improve grammar, needs general proofreading help or guidance on how to decipher academic paper...

This class is taught in English.

Students will improve their understanding and command of writing.

Students will need to come to class prepared with their writing either as a Word or Google document.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Outside sources may be used in this class depending on the requirements of a particular writing project. Outside sources typically can include Google Scholar for academic papers or ProWriteAid for creative writing.
