Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to create a descriptive Quick Write in different genres. Quick Writes will be written in the Writers Notebook for use as pre-writes for polished essays.
If homework is necessary, it will be required for students to complete a Quick Write. Quick Writes are limited to twenty minutes.

In this workshop, feedback will be provided with glows and grows. I will share with students what was good in their writing, and I will share one area where students can grow.
3 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will need a composition book for a Writers Notebook, or students may organize their journal on their computers. I will upload handouts, etc. Students may print out handouts to highlight, or students may highlight Soto's narrative on their computers.
