Description

Class Experience

Students will have a better understanding of how writing can be a coping skill for times of stress and anxiety.
I am a retired Licensed Therapist, and an author/editor. I am passionate about both writing and psychology, especially how to utilize writing in counseling and psychosocial education (how we teach ourselves to interact socially and psychologically with others). This class encompasses those passions in one.
Pen/pencil Notebook/paper
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class discusses writing as a way to cope. As such, some mature or sensitive topics may be addressed. It is recommended that students be at least 12 years old for this class.
