Students will learn about different aspects of creative writing as well as writing strategies. Students will use nature as inspiration for their own creative writing practice and original piece.
Homework Offered
Students may share their independent writing to the teacher for feedback. The teacher will share feedback based on the learning goals of the session, focusing on the strengths of the learner as well as opportunities for growth.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Formative assessments are an evidence-based instructional practice that provide the teacher and learner valuable information as a form of continual feedback to steer learning and growth as writers. These opportunities will be provided for students with results shared with families if requested, but not required.Grades Offered
Students should take the class either outside in nature or in a room with a window where they can look outside. Students will need paper and a pencil or digital way of writing.
