In this class students will learn the basics of how to write a thesis statement. We will then discuss how a thesis statement changes based on the type of essay written: argumentative, persuasive, or expository. Students will look at multiple examples and then will write their own thesis statements and critique one another.

Hello! I am Stacey Rose and I am a certified English teacher and the director of a private school in the metro Atlanta area. I teach classes in reading, writing, and literature for grades K-12. I have been teaching for 20 years and I have experience teaching a wide range of subjects and grade levels.
I have a B.A. in English and history from Loyola University in Maryland, a M.Ed. in English education from Georgia State University, and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.
I am a mom to six kids and a pastor's wife, so I know how to juggle to meet the needs of different people and multi-task.
