Through a combination of interactive lessons, hands-on activities, and guided practice, students will explore various elements of essay writing, including thesis development, paragraph structure, sentence fluency, and the integration of evidence and analysis. Emphasis will be placed on fostering critical thinking skills, enhancing writing mechanics, and cultivating a strong writing voice.

Key topics covered in IEW Level 1C include:

Advanced Thesis Development: Students will learn to formulate clear and compelling thesis statements that effectively convey their main arguments and objectives.
